Buying a plan: How do I buy a Nimbus eSIM?
Three steps:
Open the Nimbus app. If you don't have it yet, download from the App Store or Google Play.
Tap your destination. Search by country, region, or pick "Global" if you're hitting multiple regions in one trip. We'll show you the available plans, with the network coverage and any country-specific notes.
Pick a plan and pay. Card payments via Stripe, with local payment methods and bank options where available in your region. Apple Pay and Google Pay too. Confirmation lands in the app and your email within seconds.
That's the whole purchase. Installation is separate - see How to install your eSIM.
Things worth knowing before you tap Buy:
The validity clock doesn't start at purchase. Most plans only start counting once your phone connects to a network in your destination, so buying early doesn't waste days. One exception: if you don't activate within 30 days of purchase, the plan activates automatically. For trips more than 30 days out, hold off on buying until closer to the date.
Check the plan's coverage list for the country you're going to. Some regional plans cover 30+ countries, some local plans cover just one.
Prices show in your chosen currency - USD, EUR, GBP, PLN, or JPY. New users are asked to pick on first launch; you can change it anytime in Settings.
If you have a code from us or a creator we work with, there's a field for it on the checkout page. Tap Add code, paste, done. Codes are case-insensitive.
One purchase = one eSIM = one phone. The eSIM gets locked to whichever device you install it on.
If your destination isn't listed, message us - we may be able to source coverage we don't yet show publicly. We're a small team and we genuinely want to hear from you: what we should add, what's working, what isn't. The product gets better when you tell us.
